The strangest facts about Princess Beatrice that everyone ignores

Princess Beatrice is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. Born on 8 August 1988, she is fifth in line to the throne after King Charles III, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Even with the addition of new royal children, she is still ninth in line to the throne, but she is not considered a senior royal and does not work full-time for the family. While some experts believe she should be given a more active royal role, Beatrice has a different view of her life. She told British Vogue that she and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, are young women trying to build their careers and personal lives as princesses under the public eye.

Her first notable relationship was with American Paula Liuzzo, whom she met in 2005 when she was 17 and he was 23. The relationship remained a secret until it was revealed that Liuzzo had a troubled past involving a manslaughter conviction four years earlier. He described the incident as a tragic accident. Despite this, the couple faced many challenges, leading to their separation in May 2006 due to pressure from the royal family. Princess Beatrice's birth was marked by an interesting coincidence involving the number eight. She was born at 8:08 p.m. on August 8, 1988.

Her mother wrote a heartfelt birthday letter highlighting the significance of the special day. Numerologists consider the number eight to represent infinite possibilities and prosperity, which may have hinted at a meaningful destiny for Beatrice. When she was born, her parents took two weeks to announce her name. The delay is believed to have been due to Queen Elizabeth II not approving of the name they initially chose, Annabelle, which was deemed too modern for the royal family. She was eventually named Beatrice, a name with a royal history and meaning “one who brings joy.”

Beatrice’s namesake is Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom, the youngest child of Queen Victoria. The late Queen Elizabeth disliked her father editing Queen Victoria’s diaries, which was made clear in a documentary. Unlike most full-time working royals, Beatrice pursued careers outside of her royal duties. She started working as a sales assistant at Selfridges when she was 19 and assisted her cousin Prince William in choosing gifts for Kate Middleton.

Although her work was unpaid, she gained valuable experience. In January 2014, Beatrice interned at Sony Pictures Television after leaving her job in finance to focus on charity work instead. She also appeared in the film "The Young Victoria" and collaborated on an art project called "Royal Graffiti", which raises money for children in crisis.
