Additionally, planning trips during the school holidays or choosing the right family holiday can quickly become expensive. While many children dream of travelling to popular destinations abroad, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis prefer a budget holiday to one of their parents’ favourite spots in the UK.

The Prince and Princess Catherine recently enjoyed a private beach holiday as a peaceful getaway following Catherine’s return. Earlier this year, when William visited Cornwall, he mentioned that his children were jealous of his trip and expressed a desire to join him on a beach holiday afterwards. In 2021, the family enjoyed a summer holiday off the coast of Cornwall, choosing to stay close to home due to changing international travel restrictions amid the pandemic. In 2020, they also chose to visit Tresco Island, a private island where they were seen cycling around before the start of the school year.

St. Mary’s Island is a charming, safe retreat with plenty of hidden gems. The island’s coastline boasts long stretches of pristine sandy beaches, cliffs and spectacular sea views, offering plenty for George, Charlotte and Louis to explore. It is believed that William had many fond memories of staying at Tamarisk House, both as a child and later with his wife and children. Tamarisk House is located on St. Mary’s, the largest of the Isles of Scilly, covering more than six square miles and home to around 1,800 residents.

This lovely mid-century property sits on a quarter-acre plot, has four bedrooms and is surrounded by Tamarisk trees for privacy. The house has two ground-floor bedrooms with sea views and a family bathroom, with additional rooms upstairs. Holidaymakers on the island have reported seeing the royal family, noting that they looked like any other family on vacation, trying to keep a low profile. The accommodations they chose were modest and not overly lavish.

Prince William and Catherine are devoted to their children and their lives revolve around them. They aim to find practical solutions to the challenges their family has faced for generations. According to a friend, William supports King Charles’s plans to reduce the number of working royals as the older members of the family retire. It is unclear whether he wants his younger children to take on royal duties.

As news of Catherine’s problems spread around the world, the couple sought peace and solace by the sea, finding comfort in the gentle waves and gentle breeze. This time, they got a brief respite from the whirlwind of appointments. When their seaside vacation is over and they return home, they probably feel a little lighter in spirit and more determined.
