Princess Catherine replied to William now, "unbelievable" decision about George's future

Prince William and Princess Catherine are discussing their eldest son, George, and his future school. Reports say they are considering options once he finishes his current schooling.

Catherine attended Marlborough College in Wiltshire from 1996 to 2000 and favoured a co-educational setting for George so he could be with his siblings. She had a positive experience there with her sisters Pippa and brother James. William, on the other hand, cherishes memories of Eton, the prestigious boys' boarding school he and Prince Harry attended. He hopes George will follow in his footsteps and attend Eton.

While George is excited about the possibility of attending his father's alma mater, Catherine is concerned that Eton may be too formal. However, George may not necessarily continue the family tradition; William did not attend the same boarding school as his father. This suggests that George may attend another school. George currently attends Lambrook, a co-educational school for ages 3 to 13 in the Berkshire countryside, along with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Ultimately, any decision will be based on what is best for George, the future king. The family are said to be happy with their son's education at Lambrook, believing it offers stability, especially in light of William's recent struggles. The school offers strong support and allows the children to enjoy a normal but privileged childhood. They live close to Windsor Castle, where the family maintains a relatively modest lifestyle.

The royal family do not employ any staff, encouraging their children to take part in household chores such as cooking and cleaning together. Each royal child has specific duties, which Catherine has been familiar with since she was a child. George is responsible for cleaning the guinea pig cages and while chores may not appeal to every child, they do receive pocket money for their contributions.

The family aim to lead a normal life, insisting that they handle daily tasks in the same way as many other families. Despite the chores, the children still have plenty of time to play after school, enjoying activities such as trampoline jumping, cycling, baking with their mother and watching television. They are also keen on sports, with Catherine often attending school football matches.
