Prince and Duchess Catherine celebrate milestones with an annual birthday portrait for each of their children.

This tradition includes capturing moments from when they were toddlers until now, as Prince George sets a good example for his siblings, Charlotte and Louis. As the eldest, he is growing up and preparing for his future role as king. Prince George recently had his first flying lesson, marking a significant step in his life.

His parents took him to White Waltham Airfield in Berkshire, just a short drive from their home. The airfield has historical significance, as it is where George's great-grandfather, Prince Philip, learned to fly in the 1950s. William and Catherine are known for encouraging their children's sense of adventure, and they appeared relaxed and happy to support George throughout this exciting experience.

Witnesses said George flew with an instructor and enjoyed himself. Around 30 to 40 people watched the event from the club, where William and Catherine remained calm. Prince William, a trained helicopter pilot himself, was eager to share the moment with George.

There is speculation that he may have given George some tips before the lesson. Catherine, who is very hands-on as a parent, smiled warmly as George prepared for his flight. She was delighted that he could take part in such an exciting activity, which helps build new skills and confidence.

George's interest in flying fits into royal tradition, as he has shown a passion for aviation since he was a child. William has previously mentioned that George might become a pilot. Although he is still a few years away from being able to fly solo, he is on track to earn his royal family pilot's license.
