Recently, royal fans have been discussing the similarities between the royal children and their parents. While George and Charlotte exhibit traits that mirror their father, Prince William, it seems that the youngest, Louis, resembles his immediate family members more. Certainly, Louis shares some similarities with Prince William because he is his son, however, the similarities were especially striking when Louis was just a newborn. At his christening, which took place when he was six weeks old in the music room of Buckingham Palace, Louis looked calm and serene, reminiscent of the sleeping Louis of today.

As Louis grew older, his hair became darker and his facial features changed slightly from his father. However, it is clear that he inherited his father's playful personality, similar to the mischievousness that Prince William displayed when he was young. Fans have noticed how George resembled Prince William in his birthday photo taken at the beach, as well as how Charlotte mirrored her father; even the Duke himself confused his childhood photo with Charlotte's. Recently, Catherine shared a childhood photo of herself celebrating Christmas, causing many to realize that Louis resembled his mother very much, who was really adorable when she was a child.

This revelation explains why Louis, George, and Charlotte all have those cute chubby cheeks. A close acquaintance mentioned that Catherine had humorously commented that she and Louis stood out in the family, especially as he grew older. It seems that Louis' facial features are becoming more and more similar to his mother's. During a surprise visit to the Baby Bank charity, Catherine expressed her feelings that her sons are growing up too fast, appreciating the sweetness of it all. She often jokes that Louis is the only one of them who really resembles her, inheriting her eyes, hair and bright smile, traits that are also linked to the Middleton lineage.

Even in instances where they are not photographed together, images of Louis seem to reinforce the belief of royal enthusiasts that he looks a lot like his father, Duchess Catherine, especially as he and his siblings, George and Charlotte, prepare for their first day at a new school in September 2022. Louis certainly captures the essence of his grandfather. People have repeatedly pointed out the similarities between the two, with many claiming that Louis resembles Michael Middleton, sporting similar features such as chubby cheeks and a snub nose.

Initially, Louis looked very similar to Prince George as a newborn, but as he progressed into toddlerhood and childhood, he had darker hair and different facial features than George. With similar hair color and facial structure, Louis also bore a strong resemblance to Charlotte from his early years. However, it is uncertain whether this will continue as he grows older. Louis does not resemble his uncle Prince Harry; however, during the Trooping the Colour event in 2023, he wore an outfit that was almost identical to the one worn by a four-year-old Harry at the Beating Retreat military ceremony in June 1989, highlighting some of the similarities when comparing their appearances side by side.
