Accidentally "caught" Princess Catherine in a black lace dress with a red checkered scarf with William attending her friend's wedding

Prince William and Duchess Catherine shared a touching moment as they revisited the place where their romance began. They attended a ceremony at Chelsea Old Church, which is located on the same street as Catherine's childhood home near London.

The event called for formal attire, with Prince William wearing a tuxedo and Catherine wearing a stunning black lace gown by Diane von Furstenberg, which she previously debuted at the Royal Variety Performance. It seems only Catherine knows whether this was planned or just a coincidence. Meanwhile, the designer was probably delighted to see his work represented so gracefully by the Duchess. Catherine, who is five months pregnant with their second child, kept warm in a vibrant Claret red cashmere scarf.

Her long-sleeved lace gown was complemented by a newly defined classic black beaded clutch. For accessories, she opted for Kiki McDonough's Lola blue topaz hoop earrings and on her feet were black suede pumps, which she first wore at a film premiere last year. Although initially thought to be Prada, the exact brand of the shoes has not been confirmed after Prada denied the connection.

Both the Prince and Princess studied at the University of St Andrews and returned to the town ten years after their wedding in 2021. They spent a night there before attending royal events, and were spotted leaving a modern restaurant called Forgin, which offers a unique Scottish twist on cuisine. Even as high-profile figures in Britain, they managed to enjoy some quiet time. They requested a private seating area in the restaurant and had discreet security nearby.

Although there was a crowd gathered outside as they left, it was quiet inside. The restaurant manager noted that they were pleasant and complimented each other throughout their visit. While he couldn’t reveal what the couple ordered, he did mention items like honey-glazed short ribs with whiskey, herb-crusted salmon, and cauliflower sumac steak on the menu. A college friend had recommended the restaurant to Catherine, a departure from their previous habit of frequenting Pizza Express and Jahangir as students.

After dining at Forgin, the couple returned within 24 hours for takeout, ordering an 8B fish dinner wrapped in paper. They enjoyed their meal on a bench by the pier, then returned for ice cream. While Catherine preferred spicy food, William shared his preference for lighter fare, particularly the chicken masala. This isn’t the first time the couple has mentioned their love of takeout. During a visit to the Royal Air Force base in Cyprus in 2018, Catherine joked about William's habit of carelessly eating pizza on the sofa.
