Duchess Catherine has had an eventful year. Her recent tiara moment in late 2024 was memorable, but she chose to celebrate her birthday quietly at Kensington Palace without revealing any plans.

Prince William traditionally takes her to romantic getaways on her special day, and now we're looking forward to what she'll surprise us with next. Here's one memorable moment: When they walked the red carpet for the royal premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom in London. She looked stunning in a floor-length Roland Mouret gown with a daring thigh-high slit, while Prince William looked dapper in a black-tie ensemble.

Sadly, Prince George didn't attend the movie night. Catherine often recycles outfits, opting for a dress she previously wore to a private dinner in May 2012. This time, she showed off her legs with the dress's high slit while keeping warm with long sleeves, as the temperature in London was 46°F. She accessorized with a $35 Zara crystal necklace that sparkled more than her simple diamond earrings from last year. In a rare change, she wore her hair in a low ponytail to show off her jewelry, a smart choice for the occasion.

Sources say the couple, who got engaged in Kenya, were excited to see a movie that was partly filmed in that country. On her wedding day in 2011, she wore an Alexander McQueen dress, honoring their love and marking their 13th wedding anniversary in April this year. On the subject of fashion, Catherine has worn a variety of looks, such as a lace dress at Royal Ascot in 2017 by Alexander McQueen and an off-the-shoulder gown by the same designer at the BAFTAs in 2019.

Borrowing Princess Diana's delicate earrings to complete the look. At Wimbledon in 2002, she wore a sailor-style dress and then stunned in an elegant power suit during a visit to Poland in 2017. At the 2020 BAFTA Awards, she recycled a white and gold Alexander McQueen dress from 2012, keeping with the theme of sustainability.

In April 2016, she wore a military-style dress during a visit to India, and she looked stylish in a patterned lace dress at the UK premiere of "A Street Cat Named Bob" in November 2016. Catherine also enjoyed Wimbledon in 2019, wearing an off-the-shoulder Barbara Casasola dress. She also presented the Art Fund's Museum of the Year award in 2016 and reused her favorite dress for a charity gala in 2019.
